This is an excellent course for those who are interested in learning well rounded traditional yoga beyond just the physical asanas. It was full and intense. The setting was beautiful, and the facilities very nice. Days are long and mentally and physically draining. I met many wonderful people. My class was larger than what I expected and lacked individual attention. Although beginners are welcome, I think you benefit more from the class if you have a good amount of yoga practice before attending. I came away with an overall appreciation for the experience and the knowledge I gained through the course. I intend to teach and hopefully spread the benefits of Yoga within my own community.

I found the course deeply rewarding and would recommend the experience to anybody with a desire to teach yoga. For those with experience, the course may at first appear basic but it is designed to teach you to teach, not to perform Asanas. It reinforces the need for discipline and control with great emphasis on benefits and precautions.
Life on the Ashram is well structured and days, particularly in the first three weeks are full and can prove tiring if not prepared. One full day off per week is programmed into the timetable and this is ample time to get out and about although the time should also be used to rest and prepare for the new week ahead.
The fourth week provides a great deal of personal study time as students prepare for their final teaching exams and staff are always on hand to offer help and advice here.
The course is challenging but a fantastic, positive experience for any budding yoga teacher. It provides the underpinning knowledge required and I would recommend that anybody completing the course should go away and put that knowledge into practice as soon as possible and build on the experience whilst it is fresh in their minds (and bodies).
Treat the certificate as your?driving licence? The day you pass your test is the day you begin to learn.
Enjoy!

The course is mentally and physically challenging, a great way to experience first hand the results consistent yoga practice. Physically I was able to make huge improvement in my practice and gain more confidence as a yoga teacher in my knowledge of yoga.

I taught my first yoga class today! I was not aware of how much the course had prepared me to teach a beginners class. I must say every aspect of the course met all of my expectations. Not that I had any idea of what to expect before my arrival, however as an outcome my life has positively changed on all levels, physically, mentally, and spiritually. And it continues to do so.

I must be honest at first I was thinking what am I doing here. I was at the Ashram as my Irish friend had said ?It?ll be fun, come do it with me?. After the month finish I wanted to go back and do it again and I can?t thank my friend enough!! It is definitely one of my best life experiences. It wasn?t just about learning asanas and becoming a yoga teacher it was much more for me. It was realizing that it is ok to get up at 5am in fact it is a wonderful thing to do, no talking at meal times (although very hard for me to do) it actually was a very rewarding thing to do, and doing karma yoga wasn?t so bad as it meant bonding and having a laugh with fellow students. I learnt so much about discipline, training the mind and that I could get up in front of people and teach. I highly recommend the teacher training course as it is such a rewarding thing to do and achieve but be aware it is hard going at times but it will all be worth it in the end and you too may want to go back!

This Yoga Teacher Training Course was fantastic! It allowed me time to learn and grow in a warm, sincere, inspiring environment and provided me with a solid foundation for teaching yoga. I am very happy to have
attended this course; it was indeed a positive life-changing experience!

One of the best decisions I have made - signing up to do the teachers training course with Yogapoint. From the moment I arrived to the day I left, it was a truly wonderful experience, everything from gaining a more thorough knowledge of Yoga and my personal outlook, to meeting some wonderful people & experiencing the Indian culture!
The course itself is very ?full on?, as it needs to be, there is a lot of aspects to cover in a month and you are kept busy doing exactly that! Although beginners are welcome, it does help to have practiced yoga prior to arriving, you will gain a more personal experience from the course. I would have considered myself of average physical fitness, the course does involve 4hrs of physical yoga practices a day approx., of which I personally enjoyed, so you are taught to practice to your own level and fitness. The meditation was introduced to us in different ways, allowing you to freely accept a type that suited you. Meditation was relatively new to me but I am happy to say I found a new relation to it allowing me to practice it and involve it more in my Yoga.
The ashram itself is so well set up and everyone there is so helpful and friendly and makes you feel very welcome. It is situated in the foothills outside a small village, surrounded by mountains where there is a calmness & quite spiritual feel to the area, making it an ideal location to learn all about Yoga, and far from the busy streets and intensity I previously experienced in India, I look forward to teaching with confidence, keeping in touch with new friends and some day returning to do the advanced course!

This course is so wonderful and has make me knew more than what I have learn for years back. It is a very good experience for having such a healthy food and lifestyle in a beautiful surroundings, and meeting a lot of wonderful people from all around world. I found myself improve a lot physically and mentally. Thanks for all the gurus and volunteers in the ashram.
No matter we will become a yoga teacher or not in future, just spread what we have learn here, share the benefits of yoga with everyone we care and at the same time we can also improving ourselves.
May everyone who love yoga feel the inner peace. Namaste.
