Why Mantras?
The body is nothing but compressed energy, and this energy responds to vibrations. This energy is so subtle and sensitive that any thought, idea or emotion can alter its nature. The swings of mood can alter the nature of energy and when the mood swing is strong and predominant, the energy of the body becomes a conductor of that mood. There are certain mantras which can vibrate the energies of the body at certain frequencies and ranges, demagnetising the body. When a particular state of mind is powerful, the body becomes a conductor of that energy. Fearful energy attracts fear, aggressive energy attracts aggression, compassionate energy will attract compassion. Our nature, sattvic or tamasic, lethargic or depressing, subdued or aggressive, also changes the energy. To remove the wrinkles in the field of consciousness, Mahamrityunjay, Gayatri and Durga mantras are used to demagnetise the energies of the body, strengthen them and to awaken their creative qualities.
