Meaning:
- kati means waist. The twisting of waist
towards left and right side is called
chakra i.e. Round, hence this asana is
called Kati Chakrasana.

Preposition:
Standing position.

Attaining
the asana position.

Spread
your left leg towards left at a distance
of about 1 foot.
- Raise
both the hands from side and in line with shoulder.

Turn in the left side fully as much as you can and
maintain the twisted posture for few seconds. Try
to relax all the muscles as much as you can.
- Straighten
the waist and come to the position as in position
no 2 above.
- Turn
to the right side in waist fully as much as you can
and maintain the twist for few seconds. Try to relax
all the muscles as much as you can.
- Straighten
the waist and come to the position identical to position

Releasing
the Asana position.

Take
both the hands down as in position 1.

Bring
your left leg close to the right leg and take the
preposition i.e. standing position.
