This is an excellent course for those who are interested in learning well rounded traditional yoga beyond just the physical asanas. It was full and intense. The setting was beautiful, and the facilities very nice. Days are long and mentally and physically draining. I met many wonderful people. My class was larger than what I expected and lacked individual attention. Although beginners are welcome, I think you benefit more from the class if you have a good amount of yoga practice before attending. I came away with an overall appreciation for the experience and the knowledge I gained through the course. I intend to teach and hopefully spread the benefits of Yoga within my own community.

I found the course deeply rewarding and would recommend the experience to anybody with a desire to teach yoga. For those with experience, the course may at first appear basic but it is designed to teach you to teach, not to perform Asanas. It reinforces the need for discipline and control with great emphasis on benefits and precautions.
Life on the Ashram is well structured and days, particularly in the first three weeks are full and can prove tiring if not prepared. One full day off per week is programmed into the timetable and this is ample time to get out and about although the time should also be used to rest and prepare for the new week ahead.
The fourth week provides a great deal of personal study time as students prepare for their final teaching exams and staff are always on hand to offer help and advice here.
The course is challenging but a fantastic, positive experience for any budding yoga teacher. It provides the underpinning knowledge required and I would recommend that anybody completing the course should go away and put that knowledge into practice as soon as possible and build on the experience whilst it is fresh in their minds (and bodies).
Treat the certificate as your ‘driving licence’ The day you pass your test is the day you begin to learn.
Enjoy!

The course is mentally and physically challenging, a great way to experience first hand the results consistent yoga practice. Physically I was able to make huge improvement in my practice and gain more confidence as a yoga teacher in my knowledge of yoga.
