The 24 participants of class November 05 were gathered from all parts of the earth to study yoga and yoga education. Countries of origin include UK, USA, Canada, Germany, Estonia, Austria, Singapore, Japan, Australia, New zealand, China. First rank was Dipali from ireland. |

Wow, what an experience ! I came here as a total beginner, having only a few months of actual yoga practice. 30 days later and I am totally cleansed mentally and physically, as well as body more flexible after years of working at a computer allday. Thank you Yoga Vidya Gurukul, for all the great teachings and even more importantly the gorgeous healthy food cooked by the ladies in the kitchen, who work so hard to feed the whole batch three times a day !! The teachings here gives me the basic knowledge I needed to begin with teaching of yoga to others. And I will come back to get more knowledge about yoga and yoga therapy.
A place where people are passionate about yoga and always willing to share their knowledge. The surroundings are beautiful , the asanas are taught in their true form and its truly somewhere you can focus and open your mind. And I lost 4 kgs so I am happy.
Yoga is in its pure form, a bonding with fantastic people, a cleansing of mind and body and knowledge and experience in yoga education.
